I just don't get how those mini limbaughs think. Where were you people during the last eight years when the U.S had a massive deficit?? You inherited a surplus after the clinton years. And you left with two unfinished wars, a hugely tanking economy, and suddenly you have become some deficit hawks? Give me a break.
The guy has been in office for just two weeks and it looks like, you people can't stand it. He's still popular. very. So let congress do their whack job like they always do but in the end the GOP is digging its own hole.
I read something about the new chair of the GOP, their own magic negro like one said, pretending that the GOP doesn't need to evolve and it's good just the way it is. Well good for us democrats. Keep doing this way.
And it looks like republicans have only one fix when it comes to economic woes: tax cuts. Are those nut jobs addicted to tax cuts or what? Remember americans got tax cuts already in 2008, 2006 2004 2003. That the mantra of the GOP tax cuts tax cuts... They don't seem to be able to think about something different. Governement spending is not the best thing to do, but you can't stimulate the economy by consumer-friendly measures only. They don't create jobs, and people use that money to pay mortgages or credit cards, or just save it. It doesn't help the ecnomy that much and doesn't create or save jobs. You need companies to have new contracts to have taw breaks and incentives to hire people. End in these times only the government can do that.
the GOP seem more and more like Blagojevich. They've been axed and yet they can't stop telling craps.

And about those tax issues. I'm a big fan of Tom Daschle. And the guy screwed up big time, so did Geithner. But they and the POTUS had the guts to admit their mistakes publicly. And Daschle had the dignity to withdraw is nomination so did Richardson and the other lady. When republican screwed up. They kept being these arrogant rats they've always been . People seem to have short memories. remember Abramoff, Scooter Libby , Tom Delay (the greatest son of a bitch of all time, the list s too long ). And make no mistakes, the GOP has its own skeletons in their closets too. The media should just pay more attention. The US governmet seems more transparent in two weeks than in in the last eight years.
And it seems that the GOP isn't intersted in biparisanship. The president has been more than forthcoming with them but they think they're gonna make political points that easily. Sorry but you are the minority now.
Kepp digging your own hole people, keep digging. You're gonna build a permanent minority status for yourselves if you keep doing politics like Rush or Palin.

The guy is still adjusting. He was not very lucky because when he got there, everything was already messed up. And you know that. Nobody can really blame him for what's going on right now. Obama is not a messiah. He's a human being just like you, BUSH and Myself.
I agree with you for some of the choices he made lately, and the comments he made,but Hey, like i said he's just a human being. He can make mistakes,just like you and I do all the time .
Allow the man... what makes you think that he'll just spend 4 years there? I agree that the economy can receive some stimilus,but let me tell you that every economy has ups and downs. To whomever want to blame Bush,I tell you that you are probably ignorant enough or your brains have been formatted to ignore that he receives a recession from Clinton and fought it through "tax cuts".
