Now more on Luc's community work, on Monday, he and the Bucks hosted 300 Milwaukee Public School children for an afternoon of fun and learning at Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin. The importance of staying in school and reading was emphasized to the students. Here is the video. These kids are killing me with their cuteness. I just wanna hug them.

@mbahamoute ok, here's an easier question: why do almost all of your missed shots miss short? They're on line, but usually front rim. _________________

That boy came a long way and I've got to give him some props even though I feel he is overrated. What happened to Bidias? _________________

J'attends toujours qu'on me dise pourquoi CNN l'a choisi hein.

mais tu as kel pb av sa voiture? why do u want him to rent a sports car alors kil a sa suv? tu peux etre un autre coe Nene hein show off?
non il doit stop av son way de prince la ca a beguin qd il etait a UCLA, he is not a prince he needs to stop saying that to people. like I said si il est prince then I am the real queen in my village pcq mon grd pere etait notable a la chefferie de bandjoun so il n;a ka arreter ca. son pere est chef du village c pas le roi. what the hell?
I guess. im sure they did one on Dieng and companie _________________ God is good all the times and all the time God is good.

Les wizards payent Nene combien jusqu'il show off?
_________________

Anywaaaaaaaaaayz, what's up people? How y'all doing?
Citation:
As exotic as Luc Mbah a Moute’s preferred pre-game concoction of spinach, corn and sugar may appear to his teammates, this traditional Cameroonian dish known as sanga – perfected by his Grandmother – is anything but foreign to this Milwaukee Buck.
“Back home, people work hard for everything they have – school, work, sports, all aspects of their life,” he says. “The mentality is to get up and work hard, and that has really carried over for me.”
“My brother went to a different high school than me, where he learned about basketball. After school, he’d come home and teach me so he could have someone to play with,” he said. “We were about 12 at the time, and slowly I fell in love with the game.”
“I realized that if I could become one of the best players in my country in two years, what could be next? That’s when I decided I could really do something with basketball.”
After an impressive performance at the South Africa camp, a high school coach in Florida caught wind of the young talent. The next thing he knew, Mbah a Moute was offered a scholarship to play basketball and pursue an education at the Montverde Academy outside of Orlando.
“Growing up playing a more systematic, slower way helped me understand the game very well,” he says. “The focus was on figuring out how to play the game, not as much about physical attributes. I developed a high basketball I.Q. first, and the physical part developed along the way.”
Kicking off his college career with a starting spot on the roster, Mbah a Moute went on to start in three consecutive Final Fours for UCLA, a feat no Bruin had accomplished since Bill Walton 35 years prior, and no player in the NCAA had done since 1991.
“It’s the will, the mindset of not letting a guy get past you,” he says. “But I also do my homework. Before every game, I watch film, read the game notes, understand the players’ tendencies, see how our upcoming opponent has been playing…you have to do your homework and prepare. Then it comes down to how I can stop them.”
Following a Bucks win over the Clippers earlier this season, Bucks coach Scott Skiles told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, “Luc has a knack laterally that a lot of people don't have. If you put him in some sort of lateral race, I doubt he’d win too many of them. But he anticipates; he's in a stance. That’s why he can guard people at multiple positions. And he’s got enough thickness to his body that he can battle somebody like [Blake Griffin].”
Regardless of who takes home the title of this year’s NBA Defensive Player of the Year, there’s no doubt that Mbah a Moute is among the league’s top defenders.
Once the season wraps, it won’t be long before No. 12 heads overseas to visit his family and kick around the soccer ball with his childhood friends. He also will join the Cameroon National Basketball Team as they compete in the 2011 African Cup this summer.
In addition to his passion for basketball, Mbah a Moute has a love for helping his fellow Cameroonians back home. Whether it’s hosting a basketball clinic or volunteering with Basketball Without Borders, Mbah a Moute’s priority is reaching out to the nation’s poverty-stricken communities.
He recently stepped up as President of Association Pourquoi Pas? (French for Why Not?), a post formerly held by his father, a high-ranking official at the National Employment Fund of Cameroon. The non-profit organization works with doctors to provide medicine to those who can’t afford it, as well as delivers supplies to hospitals twice a week.
“I really love my country, and there’s a lot to be done to make a change and help Cameroon develop,” he said. “I want to have a voice.”
And when it comes to Cameroon soccer, he's as rabid a fan as they come.
“My favorite soccer team is Cameroon…and my favorite team after that, well, it’s Cameroon. I went to the last World Cup, and it was awesome, even though we were terrible. I can’t wait for Brazil in 2014!”
“Dikembe may not even know it, but he has been one of my mentors…not just because of his basketball accomplishments, but for the charitable work he has done back in Africa. I hope to one day accomplish the same thing.”
But for now, Mbah a Moute is busy emerging as one of the most talented young defenders in the game…a dream not even a prince wants to be awoken from.
