think about it..
i have been seeking and searching GOD for so long as i can remember, for many many lives, from the very beginning of existence.
Once in a while i have seen him by the side of faraway star, and i have rejoiced and danced that the distance, although great, is not impossible to reach.
and i have traveled and reached to star. but by the time i reached the star, GOD has moved to another star. and it has been going for centuries.
The challenge is so great taht i go on hoping agains hope...
i have to find GOD, i am so absorbed in the search.
the very search is so intriguing so mysterious, so enchanting that GOD has become almost an excuse- the search has become itself the goal.

GOD has become almost an excuse- the search has become itself the goal.
" and to my surprise, one day i reached a house in a faraway star with a small sign in front of it saying " THIS IS THE HOUSE OF GOD"
my joy knew no bounds- so finally i have arrived!
i rushed up the steps, many steps that led to the door, and FEAR suddenly appeared in my heart. a s i was going to knock, i became paralyzed with a fear that i had never known, never thought of, never dream of.
The fear was: IF THIS HOUSE IS CERTAINLY THE HOUSE OF GOD, THEN WHAT WILL a DO AFTER I HAVE FOUND GOD?
NOW searching for god has become my very life, to have found god will be equivalent of commiting suicide. and what am i going to do with GOD? I HAD never thought of all thse thing before.
i should have thought before i started the search.
WHAT I AM GOING TO DO WHITH GOD?

LAST CHAPTER...
I TOOK MY SHOES IN MY HANDS, and silently and very slowly stepped back, afraid that GOD may hear the noise and may open the door and say," WHERE ARE YOU GOING? I AM HERE, COME IN!" and as i reached the steps, i ran aways as i have never run in before.
the insgight in the tory is trememdous. there are seeker of the truth who have never thought what will i do with the truth?
you cannot eat it, you cannot sell it, you cannot become a president because you have the truth.
at the most if you have the truth people will CRUCIFY YOU

i think we are all in a kind of race where the Goal is just the improvement of oneself...
what is beyond the finishing line doesnt matter that much ..
Pilate even once ago asked to Jesus "what was the truth".. the only answer he could get is that , the Truth was standing right in front of him ...
Stephen, first martyr, gave up his life for Him ,being stone by angry people he looked into the sky, he knew he was never alone ,Truth was standing right in front of him.
so at the end the Truth is a revelation , and for those who accepted it , he is standing there for eternity ..

I disagree with you about the point you are making here as your conclusion. Because, searching the truth can't be founded on baseless illusions which after being obtained won't make a tremendous change on our life. If sincerely, we are searching for something, that means we have a feeling of something missing and the only way to be satisfied afterward is truly by finding it.
The nature of the truth we find depends on the goals we set at the beginning of the search: finding a subtitute of what we are missing! And when it comes to searching for GOD, the truth we find about HIM should be enough to enlighten our vision and spirit and subsequently quench the spiritual thirst that we were missing.
This spiritual revival will be strong enough to strengthen us against the fear of our ennemies and also pave the way for us on how to maintain the relationship: God and His Servant.
Just to say that from the insgight of the story you are projecting, i can only conclude that the seeker has not yet found the truth he was looking for and should keep going on his journey.

Hallo Caroline, i would like just to liken the story you posted here with the journey Abraham went trough while debating his people about the True God to be worshipped. After finding the truth, he was fearless against his people because the truth he found made him even stronger!

Et comment aurais-je peur des associés que vous Lui donnez, alors que vous n’avez pas eu peur d’associer à Allah des choses pour lesquelles Il ne vous a fait descendre aucune preuve? Lequel donc des deux partis a le plus droit à la sécurité? (Dites-le) si vous savez (81)
Ceux qui ont cru et n’ont point troublé la pureté de leur foi par quelqu’inéquité (association), ceux-là ont la sécurité; et ce sont eux les bien-guidés». (82)
Tel est l’argument que Nous inspirâmes à Abraham contre son peuple. Nous élevons en haut rang qui Nous voulons. Ton Seigneur est Sage et Omniscient. (83)
Et Nous lui avons donné Isaac et Jacob et Nous les avons guidés tous les deux. Et Noé, Nous l’avons guidé auparavant, et parmi la descendance (d’Abraham) (ou de Noé), David, Salomon, Job, Joseph, Moïse et Aaron. Et c’est ainsi que Nous récompensons les bienfaisants. (84)
de même, Zacharie, Jean-Baptiste, Jésus et Elie, tous étant du nombre des gens de bien. (85)
de même, Ismaël, Elisée, Jonas et Loṭ. Chacun d’eux Nous l’avons favorisé par dessus le reste du monde. (86) de même une partie de leurs ancêtres, de leurs descendants et de leurs frères et Nous les avons choisis et guidés vers un chemin droit. (87)
Telle est la direction par laquelle Allah guide qui Il veut parmi Ses serviteurs.
Mais s’ils avaient donné à Allah des associés, alors, tout ce qu’ils auraient fait eût certainement été vain. |

yes you got it right.
the insight in the story is tremendous.
there are seekers of the truth who never thought what WHAT WILL I DO WITH TRUTH? you cannot eat it, cannot sell it, and so on, at the most, if you have the truth people will crucify you. all great prophets know something about it.

love or the truth is only miracle there is.
love or truth is the ladder from hell to heaven.
people who ask GOD, are not in fact asking about GOD, rather than asking they are declaring that they have not know what the truth or love GOD is.
if you cannot see GOD that simply shows you don't have EYES to see, if you cannot hear GOD that simply shows you are deaf, if you cannot touch GOD that simply show you are without hands. that you dont have any sensitivity. GOD is not the problem, AND CAN NEVER BE ONE. GOD, is not far awAy AND IS HERENOW. ALL that is, is in GOD, and IS GOD.
so how can GOD be the probleme? GOD is not to be searched; where will you search GOD?
god is everywhere-- you just have to learn how to open your eyes of love.
once love has penetrated your heart, GOD is there.
WHAT YOU SAID IS MISSING WILL BE FIND WITH LOVE. BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE THE TRUTH. AND HAVE NO DIVISIDIVE RELIGION AS MAN DOES. BUT UNIFICATION.
